What are the Global Spotlight Awards™?

The Global Spotlight Awards™ celebrate outstanding achievements in technology, AI, data science, and cybersecurity. Organised by BOC Global Events and Training Group, the awards shine a light on the innovators, teams, and projects driving real-world impact through bold thinking and technological excellence.

Who can enter the Global Spotlight Awards™?

Entries are open to organisations and individuals worldwide, large or small, public or private, for-profit or non-profit. If your work demonstrates innovation, measurable impact, or leadership within the technology sector, you are eligible to enter.

What information do I need to provide?

Each entry should include:

A written submission following the category criteria
Supporting evidence (such as campaign results, testimonials, reports, or visuals)
A brief summary highlighting key achievements
Your organisation’s logo and/or a high-resolution image

Do I need to use the official entry form?

Yes. All submissions must be completed using the official Global Spotlight Awards™ entry form available through the awards platform.

Do I have to be based in the UK to enter?

No. The Global Spotlight Awards™ are a global recognition program. We accept and encourage entries from organisations and professionals across all continents.

Do I need to attend the awards ceremony to win?

No, attendance is not a requirement for winning. All entries are evaluated through a fully independent judging process based solely on the strength and merit of the submission.

What happens if I provide incorrect information?

Providing false or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. Each upload must not exceed the limit stated on the entry platform (typically 10MB per file). For larger files, please share a secure link (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, or Vimeo).

Can I edit my entry after submission?

You may edit your entry at any time before submission. Once submitted, all entries are considered final.

Can I withdraw my entry after submission?

Once an entry has been announced as a finalist, it cannot be withdrawn from the competition.

Entry Process

How do I Enter?

Prepare: Select your categories and complete the online entry form.

Submit: Upload your supporting materials (PDFs, images, or video links).

Finalise: Complete the entry fee payment to send your submission to the judge

Can I enter more than one category?

Yes. You can submit entries in multiple categories. We recommend tailoring each submission to meet the specific criteria of the chosen category.

What information do I need to provide?

Each entry typically requires:

A written submission (addressing the category criteria).

Supporting evidence (data, testimonials, project visuals).

A high-resolution company logo.

Can I use AI to write my entries?

AI can be used responsibly to assist with structure, grammar, or clarity. However, judges look for authenticity and substance. Entries that appear purely AI-generated without genuine insight or original evidence may be marked down. AI should assist clarity, not replace authenticity.

What are the entry fees?

Single Award Entry: £280 +VAT

How can I pay?

Once your entry is submitted, you can pay securely online via credit/debit card or request an invoice for bank transfer. Entries are not considered valid until payment is received.

Judging and Criteria

Who are the judges?

Our panel consists of independent industry experts, senior tech leaders, and academics from around the world, selected for their expertise in AI, Cybersecurity, and Data Science.

Is the process confidential?

Yes. All judges sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Your sensitive project data and proprietary information remain strictly confidential throughout the evaluation process.

Can I Appeal the Judges’ Decision?

All entries in the Global Spotlight Awards™ are assessed through a rigorous, independent, and blind judging process, carried out by experienced industry professionals. To maintain the highest standards of fairness and integrity, all decisions made by the judging panel are final and are not subject to appeal.

While results cannot be contested, we are committed to supporting professional growth. Entrants may request feedback on their submissions, providing valuable insight into how the entry was evaluated by our global panel. This feedback is designed to help organisations and individuals strengthen their future submissions and benchmark their innovations against international standards.

Shortlisting and Winners

What do winners receive?

Winning a Global Spotlight Award offers an international platform for growth. Winners receive:

The prestigious Spotlight Trophy and Certificate.

A “Winner” digital toolkit and badge for marketing.

Feature articles and social media promotion across our global channels.

Opportunities for interviews and future speaking engagements.

Can I promote my shortlist status?

Absolutely. Once the shortlist is announced on 24 July 2026, all finalists will receive official digital assets to share their achievement with their clients and peers.

AFTER THE AWARDS

What happens after the ceremony?

Winners may be featured in post-event publicity, case studies, or interviews

Will I receive feedback on my entry?

Feedback may be available upon request after the awards, depending on category and judging availability.

Can I use the Global Spotlight Awards™ logo if I win?

Yes. All winners and finalists will receive official Global Spotlight Awards™ logos and a digital toolkit for use on marketing materials, social media, and professional platforms. We encourage you to share your success with your network and the global tech community.

How long can I use the winner’s logo or seal?

You may use your winner’s logo or seal indefinitely, provided it clearly displays the year the award was won and has not been altered in any way. Any modifications or removal of the year may result in the withdrawal of usage rights.
