2. Eligibility

Entrants confirm that:

- the work submitted belongs to them or has been submitted with appropriate authorisation
- submitted materials do not infringe copyright, trademarks, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights
The organisers reserve the right to reject or remove entries that do not meet the eligibility criteria or may damage the reputation of the awards.
3. Entry Submission
All entries must be submitted through the official Global Spotlight Awards platform or website.
Entries are considered complete only once:
- all required information has been submitted
- payment has been received in full
- supporting materials have been uploaded where applicable
Incomplete or unpaid entries may not proceed to judging.
The organisers are not responsible for technical issues, upload failures, internet disruptions, or late submissions caused by external factors.

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the organisers.

5. Judging
Entries are reviewed by an independent judging panel selected by the organisers.
Judges may include industry professionals, business leaders, academics, consultants, and subject matter experts.
Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal or dispute.
The organisers reserve the right to:
- move entries into more suitable categories
- merge categories
- split categories
- withhold awards where judges believe the required standard has not been met
Blind judging may be used wherever possible to help ensure fairness and impartiality.
6. Confidentiality
Judges and organisers may have access to confidential information submitted as part of an entry.
All judges are required to maintain confidentiality and may be subject to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
Entrants should clearly mark sensitive information as confidential within their submission.
The organisers are not responsible for information that entrants choose to make publicly available.
7. Use of AI
AI tools may be used responsibly for grammar correction, formatting, translation, or improving clarity.
However, the content, achievements, evidence, and results presented must represent genuine work carried out by the entrant.
Entries containing false, misleading, fabricated, or heavily AI-generated claims without supporting evidence may be disqualified.
8. Publicity & Promotion
By entering the awards, entrants grant the organisers permission to use:
- organisation names
- logos
- entry summaries
- non-confidential materials
- winner photographs
- event photography and video
for promotional purposes, including:
- websites
- social media
- press releases
- interviews
- winners’ books
- marketing materials
Entrants wishing to keep participation confidential must notify the organisers before shortlist announcements are made public.
9. Intellectual Property
Entrants retain ownership of their submitted materials and intellectual property.
By submitting an entry, entrants grant the organisers a non-exclusive licence to use submitted non-confidential materials for awards-related marketing, judging, publicity, and promotional activities.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use all submitted materials.
10. Awards Ceremony & Events
The organisers reserve the right to:
- change venues
- change event dates
- change formats
- postpone or cancel events
- move events online where necessary
The organisers are not liable for costs incurred by attendees, including travel or accommodation expenses, in the event of schedule changes or cancellations.

11. Disqualification
The organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries or revoke awards if:
- false or misleading information is provided
- unethical conduct is identified
- legal or reputational concerns arise
- the entrant breaches these Terms & Conditions
Disqualification decisions are final.
12. Limitation of Liability
The organisers are not liable for:
- technical failures
- website interruptions
- loss of data
- delays
- third-party service failures
- indirect or consequential losses
Participation in the awards is at the entrant’s own risk.
